7 Months later!

Ok So My return to work is just around the corner and it is stressing me out a bit.....The boys are finally at the really fun stage where they can play together. I don't want to miss any of this time. However we need to be able to eat and such so back to work I go....Thankfully I am only working 2 days and then evenings so i wont miss to much, i hope.
So We have registered Connor in Preschool, He will be attending the same school as my husband attended and my aunt was the teacher at. It is about a 20 min drive from our home in another city, but we did not like the local preschools that we visited.
Finn is getting bigger and stronger everyday, Just yesterday he crawled for the first time. Wow time is flying by. Finn can say mum mum, and da da. He can clap and we are working on the balance while sitting still but it is coming along.

Today we went to my in-laws house to go for a swim, they have a awesome in ground pool. So we swam for a bit and played and I could tell that Conn was getting wound up, i tried to get his attention else where and get him to colour or play with something else. He took this too mean that he should run around Grammas house and run into every spot that he is not supposed to go into and touch everything that he is not supposed to touch.

No matter how many time outs I give him or toys I take away he doesn't seem to respond to any of it. I am so frustrated.

Birthdays.....

Ok so I understand that birthdays are a big thing, but why do the BIG birthdays ( 30 and 50) Fall in the same year and just 2 months apart in my family... My husband turned 30 this June and I threw him a kinda surprise party... it was our 2 yr olds party and the family surprised him as we made it a party for my husband as well.

And now, it is my moms 50th and again we are trying for a surprise party... oh man i hope we are able to pull it off. I don't think she suspects anything yet...we have a pretty good lie going to throw her off.

My Family LIfe

Ok So, I am 28 and married with 2 sons. Connor is 2 years old and very active. Connor loves Buzz Lightyear but cannot say Buzz, so he runs around the house yelling "And Beyond". I think by now I have seen Toy Story atleast 100 times.... Finn is 6 weeks old, he was born a week early and weighed 7lbs 8oz. He has just started smiling in the last week and still has his days and nights reversed. Sometimes this makes for very tired parents.
